Russell Pond Rd. has been completely done over, beautiful drive now.

The campground has 86 units located on a 40 acre mountain pond. This pond has always been a favorite picnic and fishing spot. Fishing opportunities are excellent thanks to regular stocking by the State of New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. A boat launch is provided for easy access for fisherman as well as a dock designed for handicap access. No motors on boats are allowed even electric motors.

Interpretive nature programs are presented free of charge at the amphitheater on Saturday evenings at dusk from late June through Labor Day. A complete schedule of topics is posted in the campground.

The 86 wooded sites are compacted gravel each with a turnout for parking and a tent/trailer pad with fire ring and picnic table. Roadways are paved. Faucets are located a short walk from all sites. Water, sewer, and electrical hookups are not provided.

Extensive renovations in 1995 created restroom facilities equipped with flush toilets, warm water basins, and coin operated hot showers. All toilet/shower facilities and faucets are handicap accessible, as are the dock, boat ramp, amphitheater, and several sites.
